Excerpt: The Pursuit of God, The Human Thirst for the Divine, A.W. Tozer

O God, I have tasted Thy goodness, and it has both satisfied me and made me thirsty for more. I am painfully conscious of my need of further grace. I am ashamed of my lack of desire. O God, The Triune God, I want to want Thee; I long to be filled with longing; I thirst to be made more thirsty still. Show me Thy glory, I pray Thee, that so I may know Thee indeed. Begin in mercy a new work of love within me. Say to my soul, "Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away." Then give me grace to rise and follow Thee up from this misty lowland where I have wondered so long. In Jesus' name. Amen

Happy Thanksgiving!

I am so thankful to have each and every one of you in my life!  I pray the LORD continues to bless each and everyone of you as you make Him the center of your life!  And if He is NOT the one you base every decision on, I pray you will begin today!

A Prayer:
Help us to remember that the key to life and living
Is to make each prayer a prayer of thanks
And every day "Thanksgiving."

"I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving."  Psalm 69:30

I had a wonderful time posting Thanksgiving verses on the front of our prayer bulletin. The Bible is so full of passages encouraging us to give thanks! And using thanksgiving verses seems appropriate on the first page of a document full of intercessory requests. First things first!

Hope you've had a wonderful holiday season.
