Excerpt: The Pursuit of God, The Human Thirst for the Divine, A.W. Tozer

O God, I have tasted Thy goodness, and it has both satisfied me and made me thirsty for more. I am painfully conscious of my need of further grace. I am ashamed of my lack of desire. O God, The Triune God, I want to want Thee; I long to be filled with longing; I thirst to be made more thirsty still. Show me Thy glory, I pray Thee, that so I may know Thee indeed. Begin in mercy a new work of love within me. Say to my soul, "Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away." Then give me grace to rise and follow Thee up from this misty lowland where I have wondered so long. In Jesus' name. Amen

Day 306 in the Year of Our Lord 2012

I have NO idea if my Day 306 is correct!  I definitely WON't be doing that again, LOL!  We have 60 more days left in the year (YIKES!) so that make this Day 305 except that this was leap year, so I added one more!  :D

Anyway, Tim and I had a great day of thrifting!  We left early and headed to Greensboro with the intentions of eating breakfast at Bob Evans.  Well, I got the address off the internet, but when Monica got us to that address, there was NO Bob Evans!  RATS!!  Well, up the street was IHOP.....not Bob Evans, but it was OK.

After we ate we tackled the list of 10 thrift shops we have for the Greensboro area.  One was a pawn shop, so I crossed it off the list as we have no interest in those places.  One other place had moved or closed.  We hit 6 of the 8 that were left and then headed back towards home.  Once there, we went to our 3 regular thrift shops.  That put us home somewhere around 2.

We ate leftovers for dinner and then I went to AC Moore and Walmart.  So it was a good day.  We found a few bargains.  Tim got a book and I got a little ironing board made specifically for pressing sleeves.....had never been opened!  Tim got a 4 cup coffee maker for his office and I found a plastic container that I'm not sure what it is made for.  Tim said it was a bug catcher because of the slits in the lid, LOL!  Thot I'd put paint brushes or something like that in it.  I also found this thing pictured below.  I have no idea what it is.  I just liked it.  Thought I'd keep knitting needles or something in it!  :D

OK, let me share some more layouts with you.  This is mainly for Jeanne and some other friends because probably the other family members have seen all of these on facebook.  Enjoy and I'll be back tomorrow!

I did all of these using the kits of Angie Young, Aria, Cilenia Curtis and GreenEyedLady Designs at Scrap Art Studio.
