Excerpt: The Pursuit of God, The Human Thirst for the Divine, A.W. Tozer

O God, I have tasted Thy goodness, and it has both satisfied me and made me thirsty for more. I am painfully conscious of my need of further grace. I am ashamed of my lack of desire. O God, The Triune God, I want to want Thee; I long to be filled with longing; I thirst to be made more thirsty still. Show me Thy glory, I pray Thee, that so I may know Thee indeed. Begin in mercy a new work of love within me. Say to my soul, "Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away." Then give me grace to rise and follow Thee up from this misty lowland where I have wondered so long. In Jesus' name. Amen

ALREADY, the year is zipping right along!  It could be because I stayed up ALL night Thursday into Friday.  What was I doing?  Trying to straighten and organize my computer/sewing/painting room, LOL!  Did I succeed, you are asking?  It is too big of a job for that amount of time, so, the answer is no!  I think I need to spend some of my Christmas money on organizing items.  Trouble is that my room is wall to wall furniture already!  With the computer desk and the sewing desk and the painting desk on the semi-free walls, that leaves only one wall.  But that wall has two doors and built in dresser!  So, there is NO using that wall for adding another piece of furniture!  I think this might call for a consultation with a person who loves to organize things!  Anyone out there fit that bill?  :D

OK, so I showed you the blue 20x20 canvas with the melted crayons on it.  I have added the flowers to it and here is what it looks like now.

Now, what I'd like to do is stencil something like this on it.  What do you think?  THEN it will be ready to hang!  I am LOVING it!!! I did touch up a few of the flowers with some of my "glimmering" paints, so a few of them have a touch of added color to them!  You will need to see it in person, however!  :D

You need to get on pinterest and search small room organization or something. I bet there are ideas on there

On storage: go UP the walls with open shelving and bins, baskets, etc. Things you don't use all that often go on the top, most used on the bottom shelves. I've done that in my craft room and it saves so much space. Just remember to label your containers so you don't climb the step stool six times looking for something! On your melted crayon art: this is completely wonderful!!! I can't tell you how much I like it! Where do you find the time?? LOL!!

My advice, via skype, is to clear out of there as much as possible. Put the books and whatever else in rubber storage bins (don't forget to clearly label everything inside so you can tell what's in there without hunting for it later). The storage bins are on sale half off at Target this week - this time of year is "get organized" time, so there are great deals.
Once everything you don't need on a daily or weekly basis is out of there, you can start over with what's left and what you DO want to use every day. Those shelves that are in there already are fantastic, so you can just buy cheaper stuff to organize yourself. BUT, as your organizing consultant and coupon lady consultant, don't wait too long - the organizational stuff is on sale now.
Ah, now, let me work on a bill for my consulting fees. ;-)

Sorry, those bins are not rubber - they're thick plastic.
