Excerpt: The Pursuit of God, The Human Thirst for the Divine, A.W. Tozer

O God, I have tasted Thy goodness, and it has both satisfied me and made me thirsty for more. I am painfully conscious of my need of further grace. I am ashamed of my lack of desire. O God, The Triune God, I want to want Thee; I long to be filled with longing; I thirst to be made more thirsty still. Show me Thy glory, I pray Thee, that so I may know Thee indeed. Begin in mercy a new work of love within me. Say to my soul, "Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away." Then give me grace to rise and follow Thee up from this misty lowland where I have wondered so long. In Jesus' name. Amen

Faithbooking

I joined a group on facebook, Faithbooking, about the time the crazy summer activities began, so I hadn't had a chance to do any of the challenges there.  Well, the last several days I have taken the time to catch up on the last 4 weeks worth of challenges.

Faithbooking is art journaling about your faith.  So, what the challenges have been center around is the attributes of God using one word.  So, we were to do a page regarding the following:
1.  Holy
2.  Sovereign
3.  Protector
4.  Righteousness

Mine are very simple as I was trying to get caught up.

Close up of the crown.  I really like how it turned out.  I used red and gold glitter glue and silver sequins.

Other than these pages, I've been working in getting all of my photos into books.  I don't believe how many pictures I have before going digital!  Plus, I want to get all of our vacation photos and paraphanalia (tickets, maps, etc) put together.  I've been buying photo albums at the thrift stores for this project.

Once I get the photos into albums, I want to put the photos in order by year.  So, it is a huge task!
I'm enjoying looking at the photos, however!  :D  Memories galore!
