Excerpt: The Pursuit of God, The Human Thirst for the Divine, A.W. Tozer

O God, I have tasted Thy goodness, and it has both satisfied me and made me thirsty for more. I am painfully conscious of my need of further grace. I am ashamed of my lack of desire. O God, The Triune God, I want to want Thee; I long to be filled with longing; I thirst to be made more thirsty still. Show me Thy glory, I pray Thee, that so I may know Thee indeed. Begin in mercy a new work of love within me. Say to my soul, "Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away." Then give me grace to rise and follow Thee up from this misty lowland where I have wondered so long. In Jesus' name. Amen

Pained!

Well, the headache did not ease up at all through the night.  As a matter of fact, it got worse!  I woke up several times and finally took some more tylenol.  I had such a headache by the time I got up at 7:30 that I was sick to my stomach.  But, I made myself get some things done:

I had Old fashioned oatmeal with cinnamon and a bit of sugar for breakfast.
I fixed a twin sheet into a curtain for Hannah Banana.
I mailed some letters.
I took a deposit to the bank at Walmart.
I fixed the church sign.
I had half a chicken salad sandwich for lunch
Put a pork loin in the crockpot on low for 7 hours with the following baste:
1/4 c. low sodium soy sauce
   1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
   3 Tbsp. Maple syrup
   2 Tbsp. olive oil
   2 Tbsp dried minced onion
   1 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
Took some more tylenol and went to bed for a couple of hours.
Not much headache relief :(
Put sweet potatoes in the oven.
Went back to bed for a couple of hours.
Got up at 4 and cut up salad fixings.
Tim and I age a delicious dinner!
I worked on a couple of layouts (simple ones as I couldn't think straight)

Layouts created with "Grandkids Bundle" by Lori Imel Designs at Scrappy Bee
I've already taken my Tylenol PMs and I'm waiting anxiously for them to kick in so I can go to bed!

Nite!

Vicky you need to get those headaches checked out. Sounds like migraines or vascular headaches. There is medicine to help them.
