Excerpt: The Pursuit of God, The Human Thirst for the Divine, A.W. Tozer

O God, I have tasted Thy goodness, and it has both satisfied me and made me thirsty for more. I am painfully conscious of my need of further grace. I am ashamed of my lack of desire. O God, The Triune God, I want to want Thee; I long to be filled with longing; I thirst to be made more thirsty still. Show me Thy glory, I pray Thee, that so I may know Thee indeed. Begin in mercy a new work of love within me. Say to my soul, "Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away." Then give me grace to rise and follow Thee up from this misty lowland where I have wondered so long. In Jesus' name. Amen

Preparations

I can't wait to spend the week with my oldest daughter, Jessica!

Today was clean up day in preparation for that.
Dishes
Laundry
Packing
Cleaning
Sweeping

Even got the tablet Jessica gave to me cleaned up and set up.....ALL BY MYSELF!!!  :D  I have some questions to ask her, but for the most part, it is ready for me to use!  I got the Kindle app and sync'd my books to it, so that is ready.  Tim helped me get a Bible App set up!  I probably will still use my Bible at church, however.  I don't want to forget where all of the Books in the Bible are!  :D

Took the Christmas tree down today, too.  Got the last of the dishes, etc, back over to the Fellowship hall that we used while the kids where here last weekend.  Put the bedding back on the bed in the spare room and swept, so the house is basically back to normal!  Now if I could just get my craft room back to normal!

I'm beginning to think my scrapbook room will never be "back to normal".
