Excerpt: The Pursuit of God, The Human Thirst for the Divine, A.W. Tozer

O God, I have tasted Thy goodness, and it has both satisfied me and made me thirsty for more. I am painfully conscious of my need of further grace. I am ashamed of my lack of desire. O God, The Triune God, I want to want Thee; I long to be filled with longing; I thirst to be made more thirsty still. Show me Thy glory, I pray Thee, that so I may know Thee indeed. Begin in mercy a new work of love within me. Say to my soul, "Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away." Then give me grace to rise and follow Thee up from this misty lowland where I have wondered so long. In Jesus' name. Amen

Busy Day!

Woke up with a doozey of a headache this morning.  Took some meds and went back to bed for a couple of hours.  Headache was not gone, but I had lots to do, so I got up.

Tim is feeling MUCH better!  Hardly coughs at all as long as he takes the meds to dry up the drainage.  He's ready to preach tomorrow!  :D

My regular Saturday chores.....cleaning the bathrooms and laundry.  On top of that Tim and I cleaned the church.  February is our month.

Made some chili for supper.  It was YUMMY!  We will eat more of it tomorrow for lunch!  We LOVE chili!

Re-packed the journal project into a bigger bag.

And, I'm probably not alone when I say my least favorite part of doing laundry is matching the socks and sorting through the underwear!  At least I only have to do it for 2 people instead of 6 like I used to!  :D

And that was my Saturday!  Nite!
