Excerpt: The Pursuit of God, The Human Thirst for the Divine, A.W. Tozer

O God, I have tasted Thy goodness, and it has both satisfied me and made me thirsty for more. I am painfully conscious of my need of further grace. I am ashamed of my lack of desire. O God, The Triune God, I want to want Thee; I long to be filled with longing; I thirst to be made more thirsty still. Show me Thy glory, I pray Thee, that so I may know Thee indeed. Begin in mercy a new work of love within me. Say to my soul, "Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away." Then give me grace to rise and follow Thee up from this misty lowland where I have wondered so long. In Jesus' name. Amen

Daffodils, Oh My!

Today was a beautiful day!  It was so pretty that I wore capris, a T-shirt and flip flops!  And, it has been so warm in the house that we have run the AC the last couple of days, including today!  I woke up to a 77 degree temperature in the house this morning!  On went the AC!!!

Here's my photos for the day:

Goodwill has raised the pricing on their books this year to $1.49 for paperbacks (up from $1.25) and $2.49 for hardback books (up from $1.99).  I've decided it is just as cheap, and not as time-consuming, to buy my books from a used book store on line.  But I only buy when they (Better World Books) is running a discount.  And shipping is always free!
A shipment of 24 books.  The spiral bound notebook in the bottom middle is my list of authors and books that I read.  As I buy the books, I check mark them off of the lists.

I kid you not!  Daffodils have broken through the ground.

No blue jeans, socks and tennis shoes for me today!  :D

My sweet guy!

Tonight's supper.  It was yummy!

Oh, and my photo challenge word for today was 'today.'  I could have used any of these!  :D  I chose to use the most amazing one of the daffodils popping through the ground.

Tomorrow is thrifting, including breakfast out!  Nite!

I am loving this warm winter! I can't believe daffodils are sprouting there. Unbelievable.

I love your selfies with Tim. I hope you never stop taking them. :-)

AND, no surprise, we had a light frost this morning, LOL! The daffodils may be close enough to the house and under the overhang that they weren't affected! We shall see! :D Yes, I will be taking selfies with this man as long as the LORD allows us to be together! :D
