Excerpt: The Pursuit of God, The Human Thirst for the Divine, A.W. Tozer

O God, I have tasted Thy goodness, and it has both satisfied me and made me thirsty for more. I am painfully conscious of my need of further grace. I am ashamed of my lack of desire. O God, The Triune God, I want to want Thee; I long to be filled with longing; I thirst to be made more thirsty still. Show me Thy glory, I pray Thee, that so I may know Thee indeed. Begin in mercy a new work of love within me. Say to my soul, "Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away." Then give me grace to rise and follow Thee up from this misty lowland where I have wondered so long. In Jesus' name. Amen

A New Project

Friday, February 3, 2017

THIS pattern came across my desk today.  And since I had a $10 coupon, and the yarn the pattern called for was on sale 3/$10, + I had a 15% off coupon (all for AC Moore), I just HAD to get the yarn and make one (or 2).

I am about 1/3 of the way done.  It is worked from the top down (the top being at the bottom in the photo). Here's the colors I chose for the first one (since AC Moore didn't have any of this purple):
gray, white with gray stain, charcoal
It is very easy!

It was about 20 degrees colder today than yesterday!  Very cloudy, too.  It was a perfect day to have the chili that I already had planned to have today.

I worked on the checkbook today, and that is about it, besides knitting and cooking and Bible work.

Last, but not least, my photo from this list of prompts.  Can you guess which prompt I used?
1. Begins with E
2. Large
3. Shapes
4. Happy
Various game pieces from old games:  checkers, tiddly winks, monopoly, etc.

God be with you til we meet again!
