Excerpt: The Pursuit of God, The Human Thirst for the Divine, A.W. Tozer

O God, I have tasted Thy goodness, and it has both satisfied me and made me thirsty for more. I am painfully conscious of my need of further grace. I am ashamed of my lack of desire. O God, The Triune God, I want to want Thee; I long to be filled with longing; I thirst to be made more thirsty still. Show me Thy glory, I pray Thee, that so I may know Thee indeed. Begin in mercy a new work of love within me. Say to my soul, "Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away." Then give me grace to rise and follow Thee up from this misty lowland where I have wondered so long. In Jesus' name. Amen

Bowling For Fun and Fellowship

Today:
Put a pork roast in the crockpot this morning.  What a great smell ALL DAY LONG!!!

More daffodils in bloom.  Another beautiful day with temps in the mid 60's.

My shawl is too little, so I will pass it along to someone else.

Tonight was a ladies' activity.....bowling.  With several being sick or unable to come, we still had 8 ladies.  Only 5 of us bowled.  The others were there for the fellowship.

Today's photos:
Yummy ingredients and spices for the pork roast.  This is our favorite recipe for a roast.

I think I got these potatoes clean enough!  I hate taking a bite and crunching into dirt!

LOVE!

Beautiful sky

The shawl is too little, unfortunately!

More at the church.

Waiting for the guy in the lane next to us to finish bowling.

I had to try to convince everyone else that this score was a fluke and that I could not remember the last time I had bowled!

Our group.

Final scores.

After bowling we went to Wendy's and chit-chatted for about an hour.  What a great evening!
Til tomorrow!
