Excerpt: The Pursuit of God, The Human Thirst for the Divine, A.W. Tozer

O God, I have tasted Thy goodness, and it has both satisfied me and made me thirsty for more. I am painfully conscious of my need of further grace. I am ashamed of my lack of desire. O God, The Triune God, I want to want Thee; I long to be filled with longing; I thirst to be made more thirsty still. Show me Thy glory, I pray Thee, that so I may know Thee indeed. Begin in mercy a new work of love within me. Say to my soul, "Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away." Then give me grace to rise and follow Thee up from this misty lowland where I have wondered so long. In Jesus' name. Amen

Better Than Expected

After sleeping most of the day yesterday, I expected this to be another bad day for Tim, especially having to stand 30-40 minutes preaching.  But, praise the Lord, he did OK.  He sat down afterwards, however, instead of shaking everyone's hands as they left.  He took a nap this afternoon and did OK for his lesson tonight, too.  He actually ate a bit more today than he has been.  He was getting hungry after services tonight!  That is unusual of late!  I'm glad!  Thank You, Lord, for a good day for Tim!  I don't want to take any day for granted!

I woke up with a sinus headache in my left temple and behind my eye which has hung on all day long.  So, I did nothing but sit in my reading chair and read all afternoon!  Tomorrow is another day!  I'm praying the headache will subside because I have a lot to get done this week before Revival services begin Wednesday evening!  Everyone is invited!  Hope to see you there, if you live in the area.  7:30 each evening!  I'll post a picture of the sign tomorrow.

I changed up the size of the type for Tim's mom.  Let me know if this is better for you, Jeanne!

Nite!

This my life in the fast lane today, LOL!
