Excerpt: The Pursuit of God, The Human Thirst for the Divine, A.W. Tozer

O God, I have tasted Thy goodness, and it has both satisfied me and made me thirsty for more. I am painfully conscious of my need of further grace. I am ashamed of my lack of desire. O God, The Triune God, I want to want Thee; I long to be filled with longing; I thirst to be made more thirsty still. Show me Thy glory, I pray Thee, that so I may know Thee indeed. Begin in mercy a new work of love within me. Say to my soul, "Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away." Then give me grace to rise and follow Thee up from this misty lowland where I have wondered so long. In Jesus' name. Amen

Storm Clouds

Our thrifting day was just as wonderful as always, even with the storm clouds AND the sprinkles we were in (when we wanted to get out of the car it rained) and out of (while we were in the store the rain stopped).  And, the wind was so strong at times!  But, it didn't put a damper on our day!

We added a few thrift stores to our list, besides the normal Goodwill stops, to change it up a bit.  However, most of them were no longer there, or we didn't see them, anyway!  I wish people would keep the internet updated with correct address, OR remove their listing!  Anyway.....

We got home around 2:00, Tim worked in the office for about an hour and then laid down for a nap.  I worked on THE scrapbook AGAIN!  When he woke up around 4:30 we went to Applebees for supper.  (Lunch was a fish sandwich and fries at Bojangles.)  After we got back home I worked some more on the scrapbook.  I really AM almost done!

Here's the few photos I have for the day.
I found the suet cake lying on the branch instead of hanging from it.  So, I'm assuming the wind was pretty strong at the house, too, while we were gone.  The recycle can was blown over, too.

The clouds when we got back.

My bargains today:  2 books and 2 12x12" scrapbook paper holders (at least, that's what I'm going to use them for).

Clouds as we headed to supper.

I thought this bumper sticker was funny:  "YES, this is my truck.  NO, I won't help you move."

Aren't you glad I figured out how to keep Tim in the driver's seat instead of the picture being flipped?

You know the Liberty Tax "dancers" who hold their sign to get your attention during tax season?  Well, we passed one who was really going to town!  Made me tired just watching him!  Take a look:

Til tomorrow..............
