Today's Art and Photography

I caught up on my checkbook work today and completed our online 2020 Census questionnaire after getting back home from the grocery store.  By that time, Mark was home by around 2.  He left work 2 hours early because he didn't have the materials to do his job.

It was so nice and sunny this afternoon, so he went to the woods to work.  I took my camera with me to the craft shed and took some pictures outside before I settled into doing some art.

LOOK AT THAT BLUE SKY BEHIND THOSE WHITE BLOSSOMS!

LOVE THE COLORS OF SPRING BLOSSOMS!

LOVE THE HEART-SHAPED LEAVES

MAY APPLE IN APRIL.  ANYONE KNOW WHAT THE VINE WITH LITTLE WHITE FLOWERS IS CALLED?

EVER HEARD OF A PURPLE DEAD NETTLE?

IS THIS PART OF THE GRASS?
Here's the art I did today from Sue Kemnitz's, 21 days of 10 minute sketches through the Psalms:

IT'S HARD TO SEE THE EAR AND SIDE OF THE FACE ON THE LEFT HAND SIDE.  I DIDN'T WANT TO MAKE ANYTHING EXACT OR DISTINGUISHABLE SINCE IT REPRESENTS GOD'S WATCHING EYE AND LISTENING EAR.  I PAINTED THE BACKGROUND FIRST WITHOUT KNOWING WHAT I WOULD BE DOING.

REPRESENTS THE FAVOR OF GOD SHINING ON MY LIFE AND ALSO JOY IN THE MORNING.

THE BACKGROUND PREPARED FOR THE NEXT SKETCH I WILL DO TOMORROW.
Have a blessed night of rest!
