I thought you would enjoy this. I was so inspired with some of Abigail's baby clothes that I made a kit with her name and using some of her clothes for inspiration in the elements. Girls clothes are sooooooooo cute! It turned out rather cute, if I do say so myself! :D
And, Tim and I will be married 35 years come May 8th, (which happens to be Mother's Day, too - I'm still saving for a camera........hint, hint! ;-) and I am celebrating by putting my store on sale - 35% off. And I want to do lots of fun things on my designing blog to celebrate the event, too! If those of you who read my blog have any ideas, let me know!
The first thing I'm trying is giving away my new "Abigail" kit to someone who posts a comment. If you click on the preview of the kit, it will take you to the post on my designing blog.
Scroll further to see a couple of pages I've done using this kit. I did them for the challenges I host at Faith Sisters. If you click on them, it will take you to the forum threads.
This is my desktop screen for May, done for the "Desktop Calendar" challenge.
This is a page I did for the "Theme-a-ma-jig" challenge. The template to make the page is free and the prize for doing a page is a set of 2 quick pages.
Excerpt: The Pursuit of God, The Human Thirst for the Divine, A.W. Tozer
O God, I have tasted Thy goodness, and it has both satisfied me and made me thirsty for more. I am painfully conscious of my need of further grace. I am ashamed of my lack of desire. O God, The Triune God, I want to want Thee; I long to be filled with longing; I thirst to be made more thirsty still. Show me Thy glory, I pray Thee, that so I may know Thee indeed. Begin in mercy a new work of love within me. Say to my soul, "Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away." Then give me grace to rise and follow Thee up from this misty lowland where I have wondered so long. In Jesus' name. Amen
