Excerpt: The Pursuit of God, The Human Thirst for the Divine, A.W. Tozer

O God, I have tasted Thy goodness, and it has both satisfied me and made me thirsty for more. I am painfully conscious of my need of further grace. I am ashamed of my lack of desire. O God, The Triune God, I want to want Thee; I long to be filled with longing; I thirst to be made more thirsty still. Show me Thy glory, I pray Thee, that so I may know Thee indeed. Begin in mercy a new work of love within me. Say to my soul, "Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away." Then give me grace to rise and follow Thee up from this misty lowland where I have wondered so long. In Jesus' name. Amen

I had several ideas for pages today, but ended up doing this one because it is so every day! DH loves the Guava Mango drink from Aldi. When I get groceries, it is always on the list! He sips from it all day long every time he comes to the house from the church for a break. I don't like it that much because it is too sweet!

Today was a busy day to start with. I was scheduled to watch a little girl a little younger than Ryan from church at 10:30. So, I got up at 6:50 and started my work. I got dressed, made the bed, loaded the dish washer, swept the kitchen and diningroom floors and then mopped them, sanitized the counters in the kitchen, mopped my bathroom and the laundry room floors, ate breakfast as I checked my e-mail, transferred the grocery list from the fridge to my little notebook and was ready to go to the grocery store by 8:45. I had to wait about 5 minutes for the door to open. I was out of Aldi's and on the road again by 9:20. Stopped at Walmart to make the deposit and pick up toiletries and a few groceries and was on the way home by 10:00. Tim helped me unload the groceries and before I got them all put away, little Sarah arrived at 10:20. Her daddy was going to be gone for a couple of hours. I put on Hannah's favorite DVD, Little Bear, and Sarah watched it as she played with Rosa and the big lego blocks. About 11:00 she walked towards the dining room table and rubbed her belly and said, "I'm hungry!" I gave her a box of raisins and she was good to go. Her daddy showed up at about 11:30. He couldn't finish registering for school until he faxed them some paperwork, so he took her home. By this time Tim was ready for lunch, so I fixed some chicken wings and we had half a sandwich each. And by 12:00 I was ready to play on the computer!

When I got back on the computer to check my e-mail, Jessica had sent me a note to send her some links to some free digital kits. So, I spent most of the afternoon doing that and getting free downloads while I was looking around for links to send her! And, now it is bed time! Are you tired after reading all of that? Well, I am! :) See you tomorrow!
