Excerpt: The Pursuit of God, The Human Thirst for the Divine, A.W. Tozer

O God, I have tasted Thy goodness, and it has both satisfied me and made me thirsty for more. I am painfully conscious of my need of further grace. I am ashamed of my lack of desire. O God, The Triune God, I want to want Thee; I long to be filled with longing; I thirst to be made more thirsty still. Show me Thy glory, I pray Thee, that so I may know Thee indeed. Begin in mercy a new work of love within me. Say to my soul, "Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away." Then give me grace to rise and follow Thee up from this misty lowland where I have wondered so long. In Jesus' name. Amen

Back to Florida

Kim left for Florida around 11 a.m. this morning.  She will probably be home between 9 and 10 p.m. this evening.....any time now.

Today, after she left, I got busy changing the beds and washing the sheets and towels and the rest of the laundry.  It will be done by the time I go to bed.

I sat on the porch after Kim left and got some good pictures of Mr. and Mrs. Ruby throat hummingbird.  She made more stops than he did in the time I sat watching.

And that was pretty much what I did today!  I did one scrapbook page for a challenge at O'Scraps.  I also fixed a real supper tonight instead of just heating up leftovers!

Mark worked in the woods all day.  Next week his job is shut down for the week because of business being slow, so he took a week of vacation.  We are thinking of riding the bike and visiting the 7 lighthouses along the coast of North Carolina.  We don't have the plans finalized yet, however.

Thanks for stopping by!
