We had a journaling challenge at O'Scraps today. We had to include at least 4 lines of journaling about a holiday memory. Here's what I came up with:
Journaling reads: Christmas 1979 holds a precious memory in
my heart of a time when mom and dad were still with us. Also I was due to have
my first child on December 27th of that year. I was huge! Our family joked with
my dad about who would have a baby first, him or me. I don’t know who had the
idea of getting this picture but I’m thankful to have it for the sweet memory.
Jessica did not arrive until January 2nd. Many years later she had a picture of
herself and her dad taken like this when she was pregnant.
