Excerpt: The Pursuit of God, The Human Thirst for the Divine, A.W. Tozer

O God, I have tasted Thy goodness, and it has both satisfied me and made me thirsty for more. I am painfully conscious of my need of further grace. I am ashamed of my lack of desire. O God, The Triune God, I want to want Thee; I long to be filled with longing; I thirst to be made more thirsty still. Show me Thy glory, I pray Thee, that so I may know Thee indeed. Begin in mercy a new work of love within me. Say to my soul, "Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away." Then give me grace to rise and follow Thee up from this misty lowland where I have wondered so long. In Jesus' name. Amen

More Family Time

Kim and I went to Elisabeth's today.

After we got there, we all piled into her van and went to a new restaurant in Salisbury called, Culvers, to order lunch.  We took it back to the house and ate.  Then we played 3 games of Sequence and several rounds of Pictionary.  By that time, it was time for Kim and I to head home to get ready for church.

We played partners and rotated partners each game.  Kim gave us (she and me) 2 sequences in one play on the last game by playing the tile at the intersecting lines shown.

The wren's nest did not change today.  I think the materials they need to use is water logged!

I threw all but these few pinto beans away because of the expiration date on them.

Of the ones I saved, shown in the picture above, I planted 5 beans in this hanging pot just to see what happens.

After we got back from church tonight, Kim, Mark and I played Phase 10.  Kim whooped up on us!

Thank You, LORD, for the blessing of the rain, even when we don't see it!  Thank You for giving Kim and I safety as we were traveling on the road today!
