Headaches.....they sure are a pain, lol! I woke up with another one, but after getting up and moving around it calmed down and stayed in the background for the most part throughout the day. But I felt blah all day long. With it raining out, I decided it was a good day just to chill. About all I did was to clean up the dishes and do Mark's laundry. And I made myself wait until time to take my tylenol pms. NOW my headache is painless.....for now, lol!
Rainy Days And Soup!
I turned some Campbells Tomato Soup into Tomato Basil Soup! I may have shared this before, but it is a really good recipe if you like tomato basil soup!
Parmesan Basil Tomato Soup (All Recipes dot Com)
Ingredients:
1 TBSP oil
1/4 c. finely chopped onion
1 tsp. minced garlic
1 can tomato soup (10.75 oz)
1 TBSP grated parmesan cheese
10 leaves fresh basil, chopped (I used freeze-dried, guessed the amount, lol)
1/2 tsp. dried rosemary
salt and pepper to taste
Heat the oil over medium-high heat, add the onion and garlic; cook onion and garlic until onion is tender, about 5 minutes.
Heat the soup (use milk instead of water) to boiling with the cooked vegetables (drained from the oil).
Add the parmesan cheese, basil, rosemary, salt and pepper. Reduce heat to low and simmer for another 5 to 10 minutes.
Enjoy! I like to add garlic flavored croutons. Delicious!! The grilled pimento cheese was delicious, too!
Asher was happy to lay on a blanket that is draped across my legs.
Have a great weekend!

O God, I have tasted Thy goodness, and it has both satisfied me and made me thirsty for more. I am painfully conscious of my need of further grace. I am ashamed of my lack of desire. O God, The Triune God, I want to want Thee; I long to be filled with longing; I thirst to be made more thirsty still. Show me Thy glory, I pray Thee, that so I may know Thee indeed. Begin in mercy a new work of love within me. Say to my soul, "Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away." Then give me grace to rise and follow Thee up from this misty lowland where I have wondered so long. In Jesus' name. Amen
