Excerpt: The Pursuit of God, The Human Thirst for the Divine, A.W. Tozer

O God, I have tasted Thy goodness, and it has both satisfied me and made me thirsty for more. I am painfully conscious of my need of further grace. I am ashamed of my lack of desire. O God, The Triune God, I want to want Thee; I long to be filled with longing; I thirst to be made more thirsty still. Show me Thy glory, I pray Thee, that so I may know Thee indeed. Begin in mercy a new work of love within me. Say to my soul, "Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away." Then give me grace to rise and follow Thee up from this misty lowland where I have wondered so long. In Jesus' name. Amen

Thanksgiving 2020

COVID certainly changed the gathering this year with our older members of the family staying home.  Those of us who gathered had a great time!  Thank you, Jessica and Terry, for your wonderful hospitality and your hard work!  I'm sure you are spending the day in total rest and relaxation!  Well, maybe not since you still have kids to deal with!  ;-)  We love you!

We gathered on Friday.  It is fun and sad to see how much the kids grow year after year!

The star of the show.......bacon-wrapped bird!

I took this picture to show how big their great Dane, Grace Raven, is!  She is the size of a pony!

She has her own love seat!  Sorry about the "FLASH" eyes that make her look like a space dog!!

The new Mr. and Mrs. Nathanael Day!  Married October 24, 2020.  Welcome to the family, Sam!

Araya and Adalina and grandma played UNO.  Araya called out "BINGO" when she had one card left in her hand!  :D

The kids.  I think Abby is wondering what Addy's face means, LOL!

Grandma and Araya.  I was her favorite person over the weekend.....except when the other cousins were there!  :D

Nat's turn at football with the kids.  Looks like he's having fun!

Grace Raven, a beautiful dog!  Just don't let her step on you!  OUCH!

My girls!  Not sure whose girl the goofy one belongs to!  ;-)

A lot of silliness going on.....

Addy and Nat.

Nat and Jessica.....youngest to oldest siblings.

The only thing I am disappointed in myself with is that I didn't get group pictures of the families who attended!

Mark and I arrived Thursday and stayed through Saturday.  So we got to spend a little more time with Jessica and Terry.  We left on Saturday after a wonderful breakfast of quiche, fruit and sweet rolls.  Jessica gave us some leftover turkey and some buns and we stopped in Beckley for a potty break and got something to drink and fixed some turkey sandwiches.  Mark had been driving, so I drove the rest of the way home, arriving around 5:45 p.m.

Thanks again, Jessica and Terry, for a wonderful time of Family, Food and Fun!  We love you!

Thank You, LORD, for the blessing of family! ❤

My daughter is a girl after my own heart.  She loves all things crafty!  She has decided to take the plunge and sell her designs under the name Jessica Jones Designs.   Head over to her Facebook page and check her out!  Here's a bit of a description of what is to come:

I'm Back Digi Scrapping!

Well, I'm not designing and I haven't been digiscrapping for quite awhile, either!  I have wanted to, but I just kept putting it off!  Then a sweet friend of mine invited me to follow her scrapping page on Facebook and that did it!  I jumped in!  I didn't realize how much I was missing it!

I have joined O'Scraps Cheery O's, the creative team for the store at O'Scraps.  That means I will be working with challenges and working with kits from the store to promote the designers.

Here are some layouts I have created this month for myself and the challenges at O'Scraps.  The layouts are linked to the designer's store.

If you are interested in following my layout production, click on "Today's Scrap" link on the right hand side!

I love the colors of Autumn! It is my favorite season!
I used lots of free pieces from several designers.
ETDesigns Autumn freebie
FoxySquirrel freebie butterfly
Kitty Designs Magical Moments freebie
MDGroot In the Garden paint elements

I used 3 different kits of Lynne Anzelc's:

Font is Arial Regular

Well, there you have it!  Visit the forum at O'Scraps to find out about their challenges.  Or buy a kit or two from the shop and make some layouts, then post them in the gallery so everyone can oooh and aaah them!  Here are the various links:

Crown Him With Many Crowns

Before I get to another more familiar song we sun at the conference, I've done a few more scrapbook pages:

Crown Him With Many Crowns

Crown Him with many crowns,
The lamb upon the throne:
Hark!  How the heav'nly anthem drowns
All music but its own!
Awake, my soul, and sing
Of Him who died for thee,
And hail him as thy matchless King
Through all eternity.

Crown Him the Lord of Heav'n:
One with the Father known.
One with the Spirit through Him giv'n
From yonder glorious throne.
To Thee be endless praise.
For Thou has died for me;
Be Thou, O Lord, through endless days
Adored and magnified.

Crown Him the Lord of life,
Who triumphed o'er the grave,
And rose victorious in the strife
For those He came to save;
His glories now we sing,
Who died and rose on high,
Who died eternal life to bring
And, lives that death may die.

Crown Him the Lord of love;
Behold His hands and side,
Rich wounds, yet visible above
In beauty glorified;
No angels in the sky
Can fully bear that sight,
But downward bends their burning eye
At mysteries so bright.
