Excerpt: The Pursuit of God, The Human Thirst for the Divine, A.W. Tozer

O God, I have tasted Thy goodness, and it has both satisfied me and made me thirsty for more. I am painfully conscious of my need of further grace. I am ashamed of my lack of desire. O God, The Triune God, I want to want Thee; I long to be filled with longing; I thirst to be made more thirsty still. Show me Thy glory, I pray Thee, that so I may know Thee indeed. Begin in mercy a new work of love within me. Say to my soul, "Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away." Then give me grace to rise and follow Thee up from this misty lowland where I have wondered so long. In Jesus' name. Amen

If You R Interested

It seems I don't get over here very often anymore!  It isn't because nothing is going on so I have nothing to blog about, for sure!

We spent most of May getting ready for family gatherings.  The rain caused a cancellation of the one with Mark's family which was to be the middle of May.  Two weeks later was my family gathering.  The weather was beautiful!

After our family gathering over Memorial Day weekend, Kim spent the next week with us.  The week after that we took a trip to Kentucky to go to the Creation Museum and the Ark while we stayed in the home of a pastor friend.

I've been working a LOT on creating scrapbook pages of our trip to the museum and ark.  I will have them printed individually and then put them in page protectors in a photo album.  The pages are going to be 12" x 12"  and so far I have about 50 pages done and have LOTS more to do yet!

And I've been working on other pages, too, for the challenges at O'Scraps.  If you are interested in looking at the pages, click on the link on the right for my "Today's Scrap" blog.

And that's a wrap for this post!
