Excerpt: The Pursuit of God, The Human Thirst for the Divine, A.W. Tozer

O God, I have tasted Thy goodness, and it has both satisfied me and made me thirsty for more. I am painfully conscious of my need of further grace. I am ashamed of my lack of desire. O God, The Triune God, I want to want Thee; I long to be filled with longing; I thirst to be made more thirsty still. Show me Thy glory, I pray Thee, that so I may know Thee indeed. Begin in mercy a new work of love within me. Say to my soul, "Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away." Then give me grace to rise and follow Thee up from this misty lowland where I have wondered so long. In Jesus' name. Amen

The Party is Over.....

But a new one will begin tomorrow!

It is bittersweet when everyone goes home after being here all week!  I love having everyone here, but after they all leave I cherish the QUIET!  That's the sweet part!  I love having everyone here, but then the cleanup begins!  That is the bitter part!  BOOO!  :D

Tomorrow begins a week away with hubby to a Pastors and Wives retreat up in the mountains of Boone, NC.  The temps are supposed to be a high of 78 in the day and a low of 62 in the mornings!  WOW!  Am I looking forward to that!  I just hope that means the humidity will be much lower, too!  So, I will not be posting anything until I get back because more than likely there will be no internet definitely and probably no phone service.

Jessica and the kids left here around 2:00.  She made really good time and was home at 8:00!  Here are the last of the pictures from today, taken at church.

These first ones were taken with my camera.

I love this one!

These were taken with my phone.

She was NOT having it!  :D

Nite all!

Fun With Family

Since Jessica was in for the weekend, Liz and Brad wanted to have a cook out today.  Perfect weather to keep cool in the pool, too!  :D

Araya started the day with some yummy strawberry yogurt!

A sweet picture of Tim and Araya
We left the house around 10:45 to travel the 45 minutes to Liz and Brad's for the cook out (Brad grilled the hamburgers and hot dogs, but we ate inside!)
Brad and Liz finishing up lunch.  Brad does a great job in the kitchen!

Waiting on lunch

Father and daughter

I wanted a picture of both Jessica and Liz with their dad and Hannah had to photo bomb the picture, but we didn't care too much!

Great photo!

Abby is in the crazy face-making phase!

Much better!

The girls

I meant to get one of all the boys, too, but forgot!

Pool time!  Thad jumping in!  So glad he is feeling better!  He still isn't eating much, but at least he is up and playing!

Araya and mommy

Michael doing a hand stand

LOOK OUT!  There's an alligator in the pool!

Brother and sister.

Synchronized hand stands by Hannah and Michael.

Mommy tried to get Araya to jump to her, but she never would.

Araya hurt her toe on the ladder and wanted mommy to kiss it.  :D

Sweet Thad

Ryan and Michael

Araya is going to be another little fish in our school of fishies :)

Abby tries to stay well away from all the other commotion in the pool!  Can't say as I blame her!

Hannah photo bombing again, LOL!

Take 2

Take 3.....better keep Take 1 with the photo bomber!  :D

This girl is growing up waaay too fast!

Araya was getting into the pool by herself and swimming around by herself by the end of the pool time!

When we first got into the car to go home, the temperature read 114 degrees!  By the time we got down the road it had dropped into the 90's.
Here are some videos to enjoy of the pool activity.
