I won't bore you with the details of the last month. I'll just try to begin again with my posts to keep you up-to-date.
However, I will say that Tim finished his 10th radiation treatment this past Monday. Now we are waiting for this stubborn tumor on his chest to DIE!!! We have been dealing with it for over a year! If it doesn't disappear soon, I'm going to start complaining to the doctor about it! This is ridiculous! I'm not really a complainer, but I can be if the need arises! :D
Tim finished the last treatment of the Keytruda infusions a week ago Wednesday. That was medicine #5 that did NOT work a year ago! And, NOPE, it didn't work this time! He didn't really gain any new little lumps during his time on the treatment, but the one under his eye is huge again and several others that were huge on the rest of his upper torso before beginning the combination treatment of medicines 6 & 7, are also huge again! But, in less than 2 weeks, April 13th, he will begin #6 and 7 medicines again. His body became resistant to them and really wasn't working any more. That is why the doctor went back to #5. There really are no other medicines available right now. So, we are praying he has been off 6 & 7 long enough that they will kick in again when he goes back on them!
I bit the bullet earlier last month and had a physical at the GP's office. My blood work was fine, with the exception that my cholesterol is a bit high, but not high enough to worry about at this point. She wants me to have a colonoscopy, but we cannot afford it at this point. She also discovered a thumb-sized polyp on my cervix that I need to have removed. That is something that I can turn in to the health-sharing ministry I am a member of and get all but the first $300 back. Also, I had my eyes examined a couple of weeks ago and the doctor discovered that I have something called Narrow Angle Glaucoma. Click on the name to read more about it. The treatment for this is also something that I can turn in to Samaritan Ministries, so I decided my eyesight is my priority health issue. I have an appointment for May 15 with an ophthalmologist.
So, if the Lord brings us to your remembrance, please pray about my health and continue to pray about Tim's cancer.
Here's a few pictures from today. A couple that attends the church took us to Mt. Airy for lunch at Snappy's, famous for their pork chop sandwiches:

Waiting on Lorien to get the car and pick us up in front of Opie's Candy Shop. |
A beautiful day. Enjoying the breeze! :D |
Beautiful, fluffy clouds and 68 degrees. Some wind, but it felt good with the sunshine! |
Have a blessed Lord's Day!
