Excerpt: The Pursuit of God, The Human Thirst for the Divine, A.W. Tozer

O God, I have tasted Thy goodness, and it has both satisfied me and made me thirsty for more. I am painfully conscious of my need of further grace. I am ashamed of my lack of desire. O God, The Triune God, I want to want Thee; I long to be filled with longing; I thirst to be made more thirsty still. Show me Thy glory, I pray Thee, that so I may know Thee indeed. Begin in mercy a new work of love within me. Say to my soul, "Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away." Then give me grace to rise and follow Thee up from this misty lowland where I have wondered so long. In Jesus' name. Amen

Playing Catch up.......AGAIN! :D

Last Friday, Hannah, Ryan and Abby spent the night with us.  It was fun!  They play so well together, for the most part!  :D  But, they wouldn't be siblings if they didn't get on one another's nerves from time to time, right?

I found this "Skip It" at Target.  In case you don't know what one is, it is a plastic ring with a rope attached to the ring and a ball is attached to the end of the rope.  You slip the ring on your ankle and swing the ball around and jump over it with the other foot.  The kids LOVED it!  They loved it so much that they wanted their own!  So on Saturday I took them to the store.  Abby is really too little to be able to do this yet, so she picked out a stuffed animal instead!
Skip it

Hannah being silly!  :D

Playing at the church

Sweet boy

Hannah being a little mommy

Ryan being a boy.....jumping and trying to do a flip in roller blades!

I cringe every time the kids run and play on the church parking lot!

If he ever wipes out on that parking lot.....I just don't even want to think about it!

Bible Art Journaling Pages
Got the inspiration for the drawing of Jesus off the internet.  The rest is done with stamps and stickers and hand lettering.

This one done with all stamps and stickers.

Traced this as much as possible from the internet and had to add my own in some of the spots of the drawing.

Hand drawn and lettered with a sticker divider at the top.
Sunday we had a 5th Sunday dinner with afternoon services and no evening service for a change of pace.

Today Tim and I traveled to Statesville, NC for the preacher's fellowship.  It is an hour away out I-40 West.  Love going to those fellowships!

And that's it for today!  Nite!
