O God, I have tasted Thy goodness, and it has both satisfied me and made me thirsty for more. I am painfully conscious of my need of further grace. I am ashamed of my lack of desire. O God, The Triune God, I want to want Thee; I long to be filled with longing; I thirst to be made more thirsty still. Show me Thy glory, I pray Thee, that so I may know Thee indeed. Begin in mercy a new work of love within me. Say to my soul, "Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away." Then give me grace to rise and follow Thee up from this misty lowland where I have wondered so long. In Jesus' name. Amen

Grandparent's Day

I went to Rockwell Christian School today for a Grandparent's program. After the program, the kids were allowed to leave the school with their grandparents, so instead of eating lunch with Abby at the school, we left and went to Arby's and then went to her house where we played games and watched home movies.

After Liz and Hannah and Ryan were finished with their day at school, they came home and we got ready to leave and meet Brad at East Coast Wings. I still wasn't hungry, so I just had a sweet tea and bought some wings to take home to Mark.

I took the wings home to Mark and then left for the monthly ladies' meeting. It has been a busy, but good day! Thank You, Lord!

Everyone of the classes sang a couple of songs together to end the program. The kids lined up in front, along the walls and across the back of the auditorium.
