Excerpt: The Pursuit of God, The Human Thirst for the Divine, A.W. Tozer

O God, I have tasted Thy goodness, and it has both satisfied me and made me thirsty for more. I am painfully conscious of my need of further grace. I am ashamed of my lack of desire. O God, The Triune God, I want to want Thee; I long to be filled with longing; I thirst to be made more thirsty still. Show me Thy glory, I pray Thee, that so I may know Thee indeed. Begin in mercy a new work of love within me. Say to my soul, "Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away." Then give me grace to rise and follow Thee up from this misty lowland where I have wondered so long. In Jesus' name. Amen

SURPRISE!

Guess you probably thot I'd dropped off the face of the earth?!  Not so!  Just been busy, busy, busy!  Lots of things going on with me!  I've got my fingers into all sorts of stuff.  Been crocheting, been working on VBS stuff and been designing a little bit, too!  It is the designing stuff I wanted to show you today.  Digital designing, that is!  Since it is a brand new month, I got a new kit done and I made my new desktop calendar with it.  "Life is Good at the Pool" is the new kit and I had the perfect picture from vacation with Liz and Brad at Myrtle Beach for it.  I love catching the kids in mid air and the pool and the trampoline is a great place to get those kinds of pictures.  Here's one of Fearless Ryan jumping off the side of the pool towards daddy.  Now that I'm looking at this, with the blending I did of the picture into the green background, it looks more like they are in a creek somewhere and not the pool!  I'm thinking I might just change the green paper to a blue paper and I'll show you the difference!
