Excerpt: The Pursuit of God, The Human Thirst for the Divine, A.W. Tozer

O God, I have tasted Thy goodness, and it has both satisfied me and made me thirsty for more. I am painfully conscious of my need of further grace. I am ashamed of my lack of desire. O God, The Triune God, I want to want Thee; I long to be filled with longing; I thirst to be made more thirsty still. Show me Thy glory, I pray Thee, that so I may know Thee indeed. Begin in mercy a new work of love within me. Say to my soul, "Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away." Then give me grace to rise and follow Thee up from this misty lowland where I have wondered so long. In Jesus' name. Amen

Day 69 in the Year of Our Lord 2012

I guess you are wondering why I have the end of this celery sitting in a saucer with water?  Glad you asked!  One of the designers at Digitals had this reposted on her FB page (from another source) as being the way to start another stalk of celery rather than just throwing it away (which I had just done and promptly pulled it back out of the trash).  It starts by letting it stand in this water over night and then digging a small hole in the dirt, fill the hole with water and set the celery in it.  Add about an inch of dirt and in no time I should see some new growth begin!  I'll let you know how this experiment turns out!  :D

This same designer also reposted that you can put the root end of a green onion into water and it will begin to grow!  I'm going to try that, too.....next time I have some green onion!

Nothing to report from today's activities, so until tomorrow.......
