Did any of you find out how to tell a male robin from a female robin? I looked in a couple different places and if I had to guess, I would say the one I pictured is probably a male. But, I really would have to see a male and a female together to know for sure. I read that the male is the only one that sings in the spring, yet the female also sings in the fall. My robin was singing its lungs out! I also read that the male's chest is a darker orange, really looking more red than the female's chest which is a lighter orange. Her head is lighter in color than the male's, too. And her throat is solid white while the male's is supposed to have a dark streak. I can't tell from my picture.
Didn't spend much time on the computer today. I did some shopping for items for Abigail's birthday. This evening we made a visit to a young couple who has been attending our services pretty regularly. He said he has learned more from listening to Tim than from anyone. They both like his style of preaching which is more teaching. He is not a yeller, stomper, banger, spitter, hell fire and damnation pulpit beater and they like that and feel they are learning more. Anyway, they acted like they plan to join at some point. He will need to be baptized and she grew up and was saved in a Baptist church. So that was encouraging. Now we will see if it is the LORD's will.
Well, that's about it for today. Have a blessed day tomorrow. Until then.......

O God, I have tasted Thy goodness, and it has both satisfied me and made me thirsty for more. I am painfully conscious of my need of further grace. I am ashamed of my lack of desire. O God, The Triune God, I want to want Thee; I long to be filled with longing; I thirst to be made more thirsty still. Show me Thy glory, I pray Thee, that so I may know Thee indeed. Begin in mercy a new work of love within me. Say to my soul, "Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away." Then give me grace to rise and follow Thee up from this misty lowland where I have wondered so long. In Jesus' name. Amen

I completely agree with the young man at your church - I love Tim's style of preaching too. I always feel like I learned something good after hearing his sermons.
