I cannot believe I haven't posted anything yet this week! I have been busy, for sure! But I completely forgot to get over here and post my pages! Sorry!

Anyway, we are getting ready for the Pastor's Fellowship this coming Monday and then our Fall Revival starts next Wednesday! The revival speaker will be staying with us Wednesday - Saturday night, so I wanted to fix up the guest room so there would be a desk in there. I took the desk I was using as my computer desk and put in there. Now I need to get a chair and a desk light and the room will be all set!

Jessica finished packing up her computer equipment after church today so she could go back home to her DH and DS. While she packed, I fixed her a chicken salad sandwich and sent a couple of blueberry muffins with her for lunch on her trip. She had not eaten breakfast and when I talked to her tonight, she said she ate right away because she realized she was hungry! We had a great time this weekend! I would love to be able to have a girls weekend more often, but it just isn't possible with our busy schedule and everyone else's busy lives. Just makes the times we do get together that much sweeter!

Jessica and I crashed last night (this morning, I should say) by 5 am. We were back up at 9:30 to start our scrapbooking again. We stopped long enough for lunch and later in the afternoon we got our showers and dressed to go to dinner, Jessica's treat! Thanks again, sweetie! We ate at Applebees. Afterwards, we dropped Tim off and Jessica and I went window shopping. We didn't stay out very long. Long enough to wander through the little Market Street Mall on Peter's Creek, try on some shoes and some fancy hats and then head back to the house. We spent the rest of the evening laughing and trying to remember the names of people from the past. Now it is time to go to bed for church tomorrow. And our weekend is gone. And it really went very quickly! Naturally! How time flies when you're having fun!

Jessica is here for the weekend! YEAH! And we are scrappin' our buns off! The first 8 hours she did not get one page done. In the next couple of hours she got 3 done! I'm glad for her! Before she got some done she said, if I'm still in a funk tomorrow, we are going shopping!

I've been working on a new kit and this page is made from what I have done so far. It is a fall kit, as if I had to tell you that! And the very back paper is where I got my inspiration for the colors. I have a blouse that this pattern came from and I decided the colors would be perfect for a fall kit. I have the name, Lord of the Harvest picked out for it, but we will see how it turns out. Hope you like it! I really do so far! Aren't the little pumpkins just too cute!? They are some little wooden pumpkins I have had for several years!

I am sooo glad that Fall is very near! Some of the leaves have started turning. Fall is my favorite season! I love the beautiful colors and the cooler (than summer) temperatures! I do NOT like the season that follows, however!

I really need a haircut! I have hacked on it and hacked on it some more! It is really out of shape, LOL! It seems the older I get the curlier my hair gets! LOL! The bottom picture looks like a mug shot! I have requested cash for my birthday in October so that I can get a hair cut! But, I have already spent some of it on scrapbooking stuff!

WOW! Did this page ever turn out to be PURPLE! I am showing off some of the papers and elements from my Primarily Primary - Secondary Purple kit that I will have on my Today's Scrap blog very soon! The flourishes shown in the picture are the ones you see in the layout. The very thin-lined one is finished with the addition of flowers. I haven't done anything to the thick-lined one yet. I might not. I kind of like it the way it is! The other one was too thin and needed some help! But I really like how it turned out! I broke our budget and spent $5 on the French curves you see in the picture. I should get my money's worth out of them!
