What a great day we had today! Michael and Jessica rented a pontoon boat for the 9 of us + one canine for 8 hours. We left the house at 8:55 for our 9:00 appointment. Michael and Jessica live on the hill overlooking Guntersville Lake and the boat house was basically at the bottom of their hill. We also had the use of a float for tubing for the kids. The plan was to do some tubing and swimming in the lake until lunch time. Then we would dock the boat and pick up food from DQ to eat. Then hop back on the boat and head out for some more tubing and swimming. It was a delightful day. It was actually hot in the sun. We slathered the sunscreen on like crazy! We also took drinks and snacks, but mostly everyone was too busy having fun or taking pictures of the fun!

Later in the evening, after supper and after playing corn hole, we lit a fire in the pit and roasted a few marshmallows. But, mostly we just enjoyed sitting around the fire.
