Your mom and Jennifer, Terry's mom and step-dad came over to Jessica's for a picnic lunch. After they left we went to Lynd's Farm to pick apples. After returning home, I tried to write to you about my day in my journal, but began to cry instead. Jessica did her best to console me through tears of her own. To get my mind off of thinking about you, I closed the journal and headed outside to play corn hole with the kids. That worked. A couple of hours later and I was OK enough to finish writing in my journal.
I wish we could have had more time to discuss what I would do without you. Your life was my life. I feel lost without that life. Even being with family, I feel out of place. You would have given me wise counsel.
Colossians 4:2 "Continue in prayer, and watch (be vigilant) in the same with
thanksgiving;" One dear sister posted on Facebook that "Prayer imparts the power to walk and not faint." I need the Lord's power now more than ever before! Therefore, I need to spend more time in prayer! I need that power to get me through each day! Thank You, Lord, for the things You intend to do in my life. I might not be able to see it now, but I know You only have good in store for me!
