Excerpt: The Pursuit of God, The Human Thirst for the Divine, A.W. Tozer

O God, I have tasted Thy goodness, and it has both satisfied me and made me thirsty for more. I am painfully conscious of my need of further grace. I am ashamed of my lack of desire. O God, The Triune God, I want to want Thee; I long to be filled with longing; I thirst to be made more thirsty still. Show me Thy glory, I pray Thee, that so I may know Thee indeed. Begin in mercy a new work of love within me. Say to my soul, "Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away." Then give me grace to rise and follow Thee up from this misty lowland where I have wondered so long. In Jesus' name. Amen

The Older I Get

Friday, March 8, 2019
Jessica and Terry brought home special gifts for the kids.....boots!  They got a good deal...buy one get two free!!!  You can't pass up a deal like that!  Thad and Araya wanted to wear theirs to school.

A picture with grandma before they are off to school and grandma is off to home.

Thad and Araya sporting their boots.

The LORD blessed me with beautiful daughters.  The oldest one, my first born, is looking more like me the older she gets, just like I am looking more like my mom the older I get.  Personally, I love it!

I could not get away from the weather as I traveled home.  Snow and rain.  Thank the Lord it was not as bad as the trip to Jessica's!  I told her if they decided to take another trip in the winter, I was not coming to take care of the kids, LOL!

As I went through West Virginia on the trip home, I made plans to meet my son, Nathanael, the youngest, for lunch at Bob Evans in Cross Lanes.  His daughter had a school cancellation so she was able to be there, too, along with Nathanael's girlfriend, Sam.

Adalina with her toys.

I asked Addy if she wanted to sit by me, but she didn't, LOL.  She always wants to sit by daddy.

So, Sam and I sat together.  She is a sweet girl.

A group picture.....in the rain!

AH!  Home again, home again.....the lap dog missed me, LOL!
