Excerpt: The Pursuit of God, The Human Thirst for the Divine, A.W. Tozer

O God, I have tasted Thy goodness, and it has both satisfied me and made me thirsty for more. I am painfully conscious of my need of further grace. I am ashamed of my lack of desire. O God, The Triune God, I want to want Thee; I long to be filled with longing; I thirst to be made more thirsty still. Show me Thy glory, I pray Thee, that so I may know Thee indeed. Begin in mercy a new work of love within me. Say to my soul, "Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away." Then give me grace to rise and follow Thee up from this misty lowland where I have wondered so long. In Jesus' name. Amen

Award Time, Finally!

On March 4th, I wrote about receiving the following award and said I would be back with my decision(s) on who I wanted to pass the award along to. Well, I have one definite decision today.
Her blog is called "Candid Diversions" and it is a great blog by a wonderful young woman and has lots of wit and wisdom on it! You've got to check it out HERE.

CONGRATS to Karen for her wonderful blog! Right click on the award on the right side of the blog to save the image of the award!

And, just to inform of the "rules" about this award:
The Premio Dardos award acknowledges the values that every blogger shows in their effort to transmit cultural, ethical, literary, and personal values every day.

The rules are:
1) Accept the award, post it on your blog together with the name of the person that has granted the award and his or her blog link.
2) Pass the award to other 15 blogs that are worthy of this acknowledgment. Remember to contact each of them to let them know they have been chosen for this award.

OK, I will not be giving this award to 15 other bloggers! I will be very picky about who I give this award to! And, I will probably be back from time to time to award someone else!

Thanks so much for the kind words! I wish our families had spent more time together too.

I'm glad you and your husband could be with us for our Valentine Banquet a few years ago. That was a lovely evening. :)

I'll make a post about this award when I get a chance - right now I'm taking Philip to chaperone a youth all-nighter. I'm staying home with our three girls - a much easier night than what he'll have! ;)

Yes, I remember those all-nighters! Grueling! But, I was much younger and, like you, I am a night-owl, so the late nights didn't bother me so much!

Take care!
