I don't think I have mentioned that before Christmas the church voted to remodel the spare bathroom off the guest room here in the parsonage. Here are some before, during and after shots.
There were shelves on the wall above the hand towels. |
The paint was peeling off in the old shower and the base of the shower had a big crack in it that we caulked |
After pulling the old shower out, the flooring and wall boards were rotten, so new had to be installed. |
location of old, nasty toilet. |
Space for the new mirror. |
New lighting and heater switches added. |
We should have let them do the painting at this point! 2 electrical outlets added. |
New tile flooring being placed with spacers. |
New ceiling exhaust and heater and light. |
Beautiful sink and mirror, lights and fixtures! |
So, now everything has to be taped off so painting can be done. Dumb move! |
Tim volunteered to do the painting, so you know what that meant for me..... |
I taped off, he painted with the roller while I did trim work. |
The bottom of the wall is white, not blue. |
Doesn't that dark trim look wonderful? |
Inside the shower. |
Love the sliding door on the shower. |
Today I bought this material at Walmart to fix the curtain panel. There is a rod at the top and bottom. |
So, there you have it. What I still need to do is touch-up stuff. Love how it turned out! Will be much nicer for the visiting Evangelists that stay in the guest room.
Elisabeth, guess what was on sale at AC Moore today? The BIG cup cake pan. Regular price is $34.99 at AC Moore. I got this on sale for $13.99 + another 20% off that, which is a little over $11. I had a $10 rewards certificate, so I paid a little over $1 for it! COOL deal! :D Can't wait to play with it! :D Might be Monday when you come, as a matter-of-fact! :D
Have a wonderful Lord's Day! Nite!
