Tim had the new scan today and here is what resulted:
"Scans today confirmed that the new lump is melanoma. Dr. Triozzi mentioned a new clinical study that Baptist Hospital is involved with in which the Dr. injects a drug (TVEC) directly into the lump or lumps. So he wants me back in two weeks to begin this procedure. "
God is in control! I'm praying the Lord will use this new procedure to eradicate this cancer for good! Please pray with me! Thanks!
Today was a relaxing day. Even though I woke up with another headache (so what else is new!) it was tolerable for the most part throughout the day. The boys were home from pre-school, so after a breakfast of scrambled eggs, ham and toast, we played with marbles. Then the boys headed upstairs to play and Jessica and I played Chinese Checkers and did some crocheting. She wanted to learn a few techniques like increasing and decreasing. We also crocheted some flowers using treble stitch and slip stitch.
After Michael got home from school, we played some more games. Jessica and Terry went on a date tonight, and took Araya with them. I stayed with the boys. We had pizza bread for dinner. Then we played hide n' seek. Then we played some more games before making some popcorn and watching "Frozen" for the umpteenth time since I've been here. I've only seen bits and pieces of it. But, tonight watched the whole thing from beginning to end. Cute movie! I had to tell Chance NOT to sing the songs so I could hear them and understand the words! :D He couldn't help himself, however.
Tomorrow I head back to NC! Can't wait to see my dear husband! I have had a wonderful time with Jessica and the boys this week, however! And, the days just zipped by!
Nite!
