O God, I have tasted Thy goodness, and it has both satisfied me and made me thirsty for more. I am painfully conscious of my need of further grace. I am ashamed of my lack of desire. O God, The Triune God, I want to want Thee; I long to be filled with longing; I thirst to be made more thirsty still. Show me Thy glory, I pray Thee, that so I may know Thee indeed. Begin in mercy a new work of love within me. Say to my soul, "Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away." Then give me grace to rise and follow Thee up from this misty lowland where I have wondered so long. In Jesus' name. Amen

Bargain Bin

I hardly did anything today.
Went to the Christian bookstore for a book for our ladies' Bible study.  It was to release today, but they didn't have any.  So, they took my number and ordered one for me.  I cannot wait to get it.  I was able to download chapter 1 for free, and it looks like it is going to be a good book.

Never fear!  I did NOT come away empty-handed!  I bought buy 1/get 1 birthday cards.  And, in their clearance area, I found lots of goodies at 75% off that I can used in my art!

Supper.....pork chop, baked sweet potato, baked beans, mac n cheese.

Loved the colors in the clouds as the sun was setting tonight.



The moon will be full soon!  That should be a good picture!
