Excerpt: The Pursuit of God, The Human Thirst for the Divine, A.W. Tozer

O God, I have tasted Thy goodness, and it has both satisfied me and made me thirsty for more. I am painfully conscious of my need of further grace. I am ashamed of my lack of desire. O God, The Triune God, I want to want Thee; I long to be filled with longing; I thirst to be made more thirsty still. Show me Thy glory, I pray Thee, that so I may know Thee indeed. Begin in mercy a new work of love within me. Say to my soul, "Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away." Then give me grace to rise and follow Thee up from this misty lowland where I have wondered so long. In Jesus' name. Amen

Well, let me just say thank you from the bottom of my heart to you all who have been praying for me to get better! I'm not 100% yet, but I feel TONS better this evening! I'm coughing up stuff and blowing my nose quite frequently! The headache is (for now) about gone! YEAH! I am fighting the urge to drink a diet coke! But, my throat is still sore enough that I don't think I'll chance it! Hopefully, by the time this sickness is over with, my addiction to diet coke will be, too! I don't need it and I sure don't need to spend the extra money on it!

Anyway, since I have been feeling so bad this week, I decided to do a page on my dear and close friends this week, the only items that dared to kiss me, LOL! But, I don't blame DH for not wanting to catch whatever it is that I have! Plus, I haven't exactly felt all lovey-dovey either! :)

Keep those prayers and petitions going heavenward! Love you all!

Glad you are feeling better! I hope you beat the diet coke habit too! One a day isn't a bad rule to start back up even tho the kids are all gone!!

Praise God! I knew He could make you better if He wanted to. Now it's time to get out the Lysol and spray every surface. :)
Can't wait to see you in a few days!
Love,
Jessica

Uh oh! Sounds like your illness started in the same way that mine did. I hope that doesn't mean the d and v is on its way! I did drink a bit of Pepsi today which is very unusual for me. I never drink soda, only unsweetened iced tea. I will say that the Pepsi tasted heavenly!

Again, get well soon. And pray that we do, too.
