Excerpt: The Pursuit of God, The Human Thirst for the Divine, A.W. Tozer

O God, I have tasted Thy goodness, and it has both satisfied me and made me thirsty for more. I am painfully conscious of my need of further grace. I am ashamed of my lack of desire. O God, The Triune God, I want to want Thee; I long to be filled with longing; I thirst to be made more thirsty still. Show me Thy glory, I pray Thee, that so I may know Thee indeed. Begin in mercy a new work of love within me. Say to my soul, "Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away." Then give me grace to rise and follow Thee up from this misty lowland where I have wondered so long. In Jesus' name. Amen

Movie Marathon

Ilene and I have spent a LOT of time indoors this weekend.......where it is nice and WARM!  We have been clearing out and organizing and straightening up.  And, we've been watching movies.  We watched 3 of these last night.  Then we watched Daniel this afternoon between church services.

Great movies!

After church this morning, we went to K&W to eat lunch.  We both got the Salmon, broccoli and cheese, cole slaw and we shared a piece of mexican corn bread and a piece of coconut pie.  We ended up bringing the coconut pie home and ate it for supper along with a piece of coconut cake and a cup of coffee.

Tonight after church we watched some family movies.....3 of them......Dove approved movies.  They were all good, too!  I hope you had a blessed Lord's Day as we did!

Tomorrow we will be running a bunch of errands, making a doctor visit, working on a new church sign and going to Mallard Ridge Assisted Living service tomorrow night.

Have a great Monday!
