Excerpt: The Pursuit of God, The Human Thirst for the Divine, A.W. Tozer

O God, I have tasted Thy goodness, and it has both satisfied me and made me thirsty for more. I am painfully conscious of my need of further grace. I am ashamed of my lack of desire. O God, The Triune God, I want to want Thee; I long to be filled with longing; I thirst to be made more thirsty still. Show me Thy glory, I pray Thee, that so I may know Thee indeed. Begin in mercy a new work of love within me. Say to my soul, "Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away." Then give me grace to rise and follow Thee up from this misty lowland where I have wondered so long. In Jesus' name. Amen

Another Project Finished!

Well, I have given up on the hat/scarf that I am working on for Araya.  I don't like how it is turning out, so I am going to wait until I see her and take some measurements and then work on it.

However, I did finish a skirt I started for her sometime the first of this year.  I just hope it fits because she has gotten REALLY tall!  But, if it doesn't fit her as a skirt, maybe she can use it as a cowl scarf/hat, LOL!  :D

Did I mention that I stayed up ALL NIGHT finishing this?!  I kid you not!  The yarn just would not disappear!  :D  I went to bed around 6:45 and got back up around 10:45.  So, you know who will be going to bed early tonight!  That would me MOI!
It's pretty bright!  And I am hoping the hem lays flat after I iron it.

Can I just say that I LOVE the premade, precut Toll House cookies!  For $2.50, why would I make them any other way?!
I cut them apart with a big butcher knife.

Baked to perfection!  Best part is that it only took 12 minutes!!!  My kind of baking!  And they are so yummy!

Tim has been looking for some new house plants for his office.  Today we went to this place.

It was pretty desolate; not many plants and not many people.  The inside was mostly Christmas stuff.  He did find 2 African violets on sale and I found some marked down decorations that I will use for the Ladies' Fellowship party.
Well, as I mentioned earlier, it's almost bedtime for me!  Nite!
