Excerpt: The Pursuit of God, The Human Thirst for the Divine, A.W. Tozer

O God, I have tasted Thy goodness, and it has both satisfied me and made me thirsty for more. I am painfully conscious of my need of further grace. I am ashamed of my lack of desire. O God, The Triune God, I want to want Thee; I long to be filled with longing; I thirst to be made more thirsty still. Show me Thy glory, I pray Thee, that so I may know Thee indeed. Begin in mercy a new work of love within me. Say to my soul, "Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away." Then give me grace to rise and follow Thee up from this misty lowland where I have wondered so long. In Jesus' name. Amen

Mistakes............

I have NEVER been so happy to finish a project in my entire life!  The mittens were easy, but when it came to putting a little design on them..........well, let's just say I had to undo so many times that I lost count!  I finally gave up on the double stitching idea!  But, I am finished!  Even made the chain to hold them together.  I'm thinking I might make a little scarf to match!

Got up a bit earlier today to put my 6-hour Stew recipe into the crockpot for our dinner tonight.  This is our favorite roast recipe!

Beautiful day.  Started out with a pretty good frost on the ground!

Every year at Christmas time, we buy poinsettias for the people to buy in honor of, or in memory of someone.  We have 4 white ones and 8 red ones to begin with.  We may have to buy more.  We bought them from Walmart but had to go to Lowes for the plastic tray underneath.  Still need to get picks for them.

OK, that's it for me!  Tomorrow is THRIFTING!!!!!
