Excerpt: The Pursuit of God, The Human Thirst for the Divine, A.W. Tozer

O God, I have tasted Thy goodness, and it has both satisfied me and made me thirsty for more. I am painfully conscious of my need of further grace. I am ashamed of my lack of desire. O God, The Triune God, I want to want Thee; I long to be filled with longing; I thirst to be made more thirsty still. Show me Thy glory, I pray Thee, that so I may know Thee indeed. Begin in mercy a new work of love within me. Say to my soul, "Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away." Then give me grace to rise and follow Thee up from this misty lowland where I have wondered so long. In Jesus' name. Amen

Showers of Blessing

There was only one day last week that I did not go somewhere:
Monday - Mallard Ridge
Tuesday - stayed home
Wednesday - church
Thursday - thrifting
Friday - Ladies' meeting
Saturday - women's conference
Sunday - baby shower

Hopefully, that is all for awhile!  :D

Today's baby shower was for a precious young woman who used to be a member of the church.  We miss her and her dear husband dearly!
Greg and Ashley Fleshman

They know the baby will be a boy.
His name will be Noah.

It was such a cute shower with "A Story Book" theme.  Instead of a card, the request was for a children's book, used or new!

Peter Rabbit and Mr. McGregor's garden.

Dr. Seuss' Green Eggs!

Don't you just love the rubber duckies floating in the water, I mean punch!

This was cute.  The drawing has lots of books and you were to sign your name to the spine of one of the books.
May the Lord bless you richly, Ashley and Greg, as your raise Noah in the fear and admonition of the Lord!

Speaking of books, it's time for me to do some reading before bed.  Nite!
